Rumor Mill.......

Ok I really should be studying for my exam tomorrow but this is just 2 hot to hold in ya feelzzz me....actually I should be sleeping to be honest but...WHAT BEYONCE IS PREGNANT??? Say it aint soooo....Did Jay Z finally talk her in to baby number 1 or maybe it will be twins.....how about achta Beyonce (thats 8 for those of you that aren't familiar)hmmmmm the couple got married April 4, 2008 in NYC but no one knew about it!! How did they keep this from us? How selfish... no no how RUDE! Ok so whats the deal juicy readers is this a rumor or a fact??? It has not been confirmed so im thinking Rumor.....If Jay Z is shooting blanks I hope he doesn't think they can get pregnant through sweet dreams or beautiful nightmares and I sure hope he doesn't think hes irreplaceable...ok ok Im done recalling her songs...hahahah Let me know readers let me know!

Sorry sorry sorry

Hello to aaaaaaaaaaaaallllll of our readers on behalf of Lana and myself I would like to apologize for our unannounced absence from Juicy. We have been very very busy with school to include mid-terms, silly group projects.....friendship, and relationship drama!!!!! :O what does that mean for you? It means there is juicy info to come. We appreciate the emails asking us (as one reader emailed) where the hell are you guys? Haha we love it! Thanks! Remember we are pretty busy as well but we need to make more time for Juicy CLEARLY!!!! Ok we were going to save this for later but we have some pretty cool vacations to talk about as well.......as we snuck off to a few relaxing vacay spots........stay posted!

RA Selection Update

Several posts ago I talked about interviewing to be an RA....I also told you I was going to tell you the schools decison that following day, as that is when I was supposed to hear back. Well three weeks later someone decided to get on their J.O.B and inform me I was selected to be an RA!!!!! True to my assumption I was assigned...............FRESHMAN hahahah greeeeaaaaaaaaaaat! Im pretty excited about it though!!! Wish me luck! I get my own place, pay is good, and it looks great on a resume, the rents (parents) are obviously happy to be saving alil $ as well!....cant complain really!

Your a Jerk! ~ How to get rid of a jerk while studying

A constant amusement of mine is how rude people can be on a regular basis when it comes to being quiet and respectful of a persons quiet study time while in the library or in *QUIET* Study rooms. This morning I woke at at 6:30AM to clean up my house and get some work done, followed by some intense studying in a designated *QUIET* study room. From 8am to about 8:30am I was able to get a large amount of reading done in silence....that is until a JERK decides she wanted to come into the study room and talk on the phone to Mexico or wherever. God only knows......I tuned her out by putting my headphones on and listening to music. She then gets off the phone and pulls out headphones to listen to a previously recorded lecture.........she might as well not had headphones in because it was as loud as my car stereo in the summer time with the windows down. Whomever you are YOUR A JERK! I decided to take matters into my own hands (as usual) and remove my headphones and turning the volume on my computer to MAX......blasting Rihanna, Ozzy Osbourne, 311 etc.......for about 15 min. After repeated glares for me to turn my music down the JERK decided shed had enough and stormed out of the room. :) ~ oh and hun if you read this..........I use the word jerk in place of my favorite word (BITCH) to be respectful!

Friendship

True friendship is not when you go to school and hang around with someone just because you have no one else to chill with. Its not calling someone up when your bored because they are fun to talk to. Its not when you cant think of a birthday gift and end up buying your friend a wal-mart gift card. Is not when you have to talk to someone about something you don't particularly care about (like how much snow we got last year) to avoid an awkward silence.

Friendship is when you love someone with every ounce of your being and genuinely want them to be happy even if it means sacrificing something your self to make them happy. A true friend is someone you can talk to about your feelings, someone you can tell things you could never tell your family or even your partner. They are someone who you don't have to talk to but someone you want to talk to; someone you will go out of your way to be with. Friendship is when you love someone so much you want to hold them and never let go, someone you want to rest your head on and cry, and you would let them cry on you too. Its someone you can talk to about things you disagree on and end up being closer for that disagreement. Its when you think about someone and how close you are to them and how much you love them and you smile and are happy all over.
JuIcY-Having read the Urban Dictionaries definition of friendship, tell us........are you the type of friend that you want to be? Has your friend done something(s) for you that no one else would have done without expecting something in return or some financial payment? When is the last time you just called your friend just to see how he/she was doing?........and we mean literally just to see how they were doing, not "hey how are you..umm ya can I borrow some money?" Do you know something is wrong within the friendship but you turn and look the other way because you don't want to deal with it or you don't have time? Do you know your friend is in need of someone to talk to but you don't have time to talk, or just think it will go away? Do you owe your friend an apology? Does your friend need a hug? Do you pick something up from the store for your friend just because you think it would make them smile? Are you there for your friends when they need you? Tell us.....if your friend passed away tomorrow would you have regrets for things you didn't do? Friends are very important! Don't let them slip away!

Social Media Web 2.0

We all use Web 2.0 weather we realize it or not! Social media has transformed the way we all communicate. Reading Juicy Communication you are participating in a form of new media technology also known as web 2.0 or simply put social media. The picture to the right is a small collection of social media sites most use today! From bogger, to Myspace, Digg, twitter and many more......How many times have you been on facebook today? Weather you realize it or not social media has been around for a very long time. As the days go by AOL instant messenger (AIM) is becoming a thing of the past but for most of us it was the first form of social media we used followed by Myspace.com and now the ever popular and addictive Facebook. I encourage everyone to become familiar with social media sites as well as new media technology! The use of Skype, Flickr, Vsocial, and many more can simplify your life and put some fun into it as well. These are only a few of the social media sites that I use. I plan on going in depth as to what each social media site offers in a later post! Stay tuned!
